Lee on Solent Aerodrome  (MCA Daedalus)

Lee on Solent Aerodrome is an unlicensed civil aerodrome on the south coast of England. Unlike most aerodromes it is not not run primarily for public use although progress is being made towards improving access.

Operational control is split. The Aerodrome Operator is Hampshire Police while parking and hangarage are on land leased by a variety of people from South East England Development Agency (SEEDA). Click here for the Land Ownership plan. The runway is separated from the parking and hangars by a fence with electrically operated aircraft access gates. Prior Permission is required before operating from Daedalus. For resident aircraft this takes the form of a license issued by the Aerodrome Operator. Operators of visiting aircraft are required to obtain permission via an Airfield Tenant by providing details of the visit and supplying copy of the aircraft insurance. Parking or hangarage are not available from the Aerodrome Operator so arrangements must be made wtih one of the SEEDA lessees. See the Visiting Pilots page for more details.

AVGAS 100LL is available on site by prior arrangement with Daedalus Aviation Fuelling Services (DAFS).

JET A1 is available on site by prior arrnagement with Atlas Helicopters
