Key Planning Responses which LFA has submitted to public consultations.

Public Consultations have been held by SEEDA, Fareham Borough Council (FBC) and Gosport Borough Council (GBC) regarding the re-generation and future of Daedalus Airfield, the Fareham Borough Council Core Strategy and other significant local planning instruments.

 Outline Planning Applications for Daedalus Airfield

SEEDA purchased their parts of Daedalus Airfield (East, West and South) in March 2006 for Aviation and Marine use. (source SEEDA Press Release).

SEEDA submitted two Outline Planning Applications for Daedalus Airfield in June 2011; one to Fareham for the airfield land in the Fareham Borough, and one to Gosport for the airfield land wthin the Gosport Borough. These two Outline Applications, if approved as is, set the context for the future of Daedalus Airfield and actual planning applications as they come forward.

The two Outline Applications SEEDA submitted are the culmination of 5 years consultation and consultancy studies conducted by SEEDA, in partnership with many stakeholders.
